CDL Class A
A valid Class A commercial driver's license.
2 years of OTR experience
Two years of over-the-road driving.
SAP drivers allowed
If you had a DOT drug or alcohol violation and are going through the Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) return-to-duty process, you can still apply.

Home time

The schedule is flexible. In an emergency, you can get home a few days early.
Reviewed by the carrier
Each carrier runs its own standard checks during its application, such as driving record, background and DOT drug screening. Your recruiter will tell you exactly what to expect before you apply with the carrier.
